[_] Looking for a developer role

There are pockets of backwards-ness everywhere still. I'm younger than Dave
is experienced (sorry mate!) but my first job as an intern back in 2003 was
porting some radio software from a 486 to a pentium processor for a major
infrastructure/transport software giant. This included flashing rom chips
and having a pile of hardware on my desk that looked like a pile of over
oversized military grade Raspberry Pis.

As someone entering the workplace and eventually graduating from a Comp Sci
BSc in 2005, I wasn't entirely sure this was what I signed up for!
