[_] Performance testing, please help!

I've had delays when loading fonts from typekit. As they protect their
fonts through some javascript cleverness the site doesn't display properly
until their javascript has loaded.

A cursory glance shows you're using Helvetica with a fallback to Arial for
the main text - so could you load in any of the symbols as graphics rather
than custom fonts and possibly even lose Helvetica so that you can rely on
bog standard Arial?

Out of preference I would avoid custom fonts and go for standard web fonts
or google's freebie web fonts http://www.google.com/webfonts
