[_] Graphical Tablets

Hi everyone, I've been using (sort of) a PC specific Wacom graphics tablet on my Mac (a hand me down) for about 6months now, and whilst it kinda works on about 50% of the screen on my Imac (because of the hacked drivers I'm using), I think it's about time I looked into buying a replacement that is fit for purpose! Has anyone got any recommendations for a not-too-expensive graphics tablet that has non-dodgy illustrator/photoshop CS4 compatible drivers (which therefore responds to pressure sensitivity and all the stuff it should do!)?
