I no longer worry about such things after a photo of me looking
considerably more sober than I was, apart from the toilet seat being
worn as a head/neck ornament, features in the "History of London.pm"
keynote talk at the last perl workshop (attended by hundreds of my
peers) as well as at several larger perl conferences - for added
cringe factor, I emailed it as a joke to the web designer at $employer
and it now features as my profile photo on our live website.

On the plus side, nobody was sober enough to operate a camera as we
continued drinking after they kicked us out of the pub (so they could
lock up and go home), as things got worse when we raided the "amusing
foreign drinks" selection at our host's flat.
