What server specs do you need? http://melbourne.co.uk in Manchester offer excellent VPS (not oversold, so just as good as a dedicated server), which would give you plenty of uptime since they can just move your server between VM hosts without taking it down, and as such you're not dependent on any hardware. Their bandwidth is also very cheap (1TB included). Ubuntu is supported. The only reason that gets expensive is if you need a lot of disk space or a tonne of ram. Oliver.
