Hi All on this foggy day.

I am looking to send out emails to roughly 1,000 addresses all of who
have downloaded documents from our company website.  I am weighing up
whether to do this from our internal emailserver (bad idea?) or via a
specific web based service.

Any pros and cons to doing this, and any decent reasonable services
that you may have used in the past?
