Speaking of which, I just moved to a pair of 200mbit/sec Devolo HomePlug adapters for my desktop PC. The little monitoring app you get reports a speed of 150mbit/s, which I was pretty happy with (as speed again is dependent on the quality of your wiring). Bizarrely, PC World (yes, sorry) charge the same amount in-store for the 200mb ones as each of the slower models (though I've been told that the 200's aren't compatible with the older slower models).
