It's pretty good .NET really performance wise and IIS 6 is actually a great web server. For the purpose of making configuration easy, if you set the database server address to something like MYSQL, you can then setup the hosts file on windows to point that alias to the IP. Just edit c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (you'll need to right click, properties, and take the read-only lock off it first). Then, if you move the database server you've just got one place to make the update.
