I've spent the last few weeks trying to convince Mrs B that an old
school BMW M635 would make a suitable company car for me, she's
(literally) not buying it although I've not given up yet.

I reckon for looks, fuel economy and practicality something like a 5
series beemer is a good option as is an Audi A6 (or older shape A8),
Jags are pretty good too. A mate has a diesel S Type that he
absolutely canes around the country in and still gets circa 40 mpg, no
idea what servicing costs are, though. Another mate bought a black
cab, slapped his logo on the side then sent his staff out in it to
pick clients up in (though this was in London).

I'm off now to flagellate for even mentioning guzzling gas.
