Knowing Underscorers' love of all things Uber... www.spcmini.com I've taken to labelling wall sockets, with the power usage figures (standby/normal/max). And, re standby, those small numbers add up over the hours into kettle-boiling wattages. Switching off can help your security; why leave your computer and wireless open to hacking attempts when you're not using them? Unless you're running webservers of course... Though maybe sites that are only accessed at certain times might consider powering down for power-saving and security? Anyone heard of anything like that? I wonder whether to make my CMSs (argh - it's that plural) time-locked. - Paddy
