[_] 3d Engines

Hi Neil

That is definitely a port of the m3d engine (had a quick look at it with swf
decompiler and all the action scripts are prefixed with m3d - bit of a give
away).

Does that mean this is a software renderer, and if so does that mean it
would be even more powerful if it could access openGLl.

Can't wait for it to become opensource.

Might even make me take the as3 route especially as it has a pixel plotting
command which is what steered me away from as2 and made me interested in
java3d.

Although I still am concerned about the cost of all those hidden elements
and redundant bits of coding that these libraries might carry with them
(with regards to streamlining an engine to cater for more specific usage),
but then I have to weigh that up against the download required to utilise
java3d and my desire for openGL hardware rendering

Cheers

Adrian
