Invitation Media is a publishing and media company with an enviable product portfolio. We are now looking to recruit a talented Web Designer (XHTML, HTML, CSS, SEO, JavaScript) with a keen interest in search engine optimisation to join our team. 

Rapidly expanding, and with exciting plans for 2008 – there has never been a better time to join the company. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive the online side of the business forward. 

Working alongside the Technical Director, your role will involve building web sites and working on search engine optimisation projects. You will be provided with mentoring in search engine optimisation. 

Essential skills:

- Building sites on content management systems (Preferred: Modx though open)
- Building ecommerce sites using software (OsCommerce, TradingEye, etc)
- Building HTML, XHTML & CSS templates to W3C standards compliance & WCAG awareness from graphic designs 
- Good working knowledge of JavaScript
- Understanding of PHP/MYSQL, and the ability to amend existing scripts and integrate frontend with backend.

Any of the following would be an advantage: 

- Search Engine Optimisation (knowledge of onsite/offsite optimisation strategies and implementation)
- Knowledge of Ajax

Salary Details: Upto £28,000
