Just for info - I went to that meeting and found Vala to be really nice as was the cafe format itself. Shame it was at 9.30 in the morning on a saturday, and 20 quid to get in. We got a chance to chat to a few MPs and councillors about this Mayor idea though. I'll try and write up a bit about it on my blog in the near future.
