Attentive readers will know that I'm working on a huge project to convert a
load of DV tapes to Flash.

They were all converted to VIDEO_TS format by a professional studio, but
some of the media are unreadable.  The client is asking if I can convert
these faulty tapes to VOB format, and I'm struggling to find out how to do
this.

I have Mac Pro, ancient video camera (which will be replaced if need be),
and a reasonable budet.

Any advice gratefully received.
