Job Role:  Support Technician  
Salary:  £16000 - £20000 per annum - depending on experience
Job Type:  Permanent  
Skills:  Active Directory, Exchange Server 2003, MS Exchange  
Job Description: Award winning creative digital marketing agency require a Desktop Support Technician to work at their busy Bristol office. As the sole IT Technician, reporting directly to the Technical Director you will need to be a bright, forward thinking individual with excellent problem solving ability. 

 

Some of your duties will include:

Manage Active Directory/Exchange 2003 environment. 
Network administration. 
Design and implement Backup and Disaster Recovery strategy. 
PC/Server Hardware maintenance. 
Produce management information upon request. 
Improve efficiency of network and IT systems. 
Management and support of Telephony systems. 
Manage the support knowledge base. 

 

This role would ideally be suited to a Graduate with six to eighteen months commercial experience. It's a hands-on role that requires an energetic self-starter with excellent organisational skills that can demonstrate initiative and work to deadlines and targets. You will need to have a flexible approach and excellent inter-personal / communication skills.
