The Underscore Archives

Are any of you using any libraries or tools that enable you to provide a
facility on your website for users to import contacts from their address
book(s) on other sites such as Gmail, Facebook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc?

It's a pretty common feature on social networking sites nowadays, and I was
wondering if there was a standardised way for doing it. Any ideas?

I've found a sourceforge project called Open Contacts
https://sourceforge.net/projects/opencontactsnet/
which looks promising - has anyone any experience of this or other solutions
they'd be willing to share?
