Check out the Kill-a-Watt. (http://www.p3international.com/products/special/P4400/P4400-CE.html) Amazon UK has several similar items. We got one last fall - It's interesting to see how much specific appliances, lights, etc. really use. Interesting, and sometimes a little disturbing...
