I have a Canon MP110 - a bit old now (2004?) and some paper seems to
make the sheet feeder fail to work, but Canons let you change just the
ink tanks, not the heads as well (until the heads need replacing - I
should probably do this!).

No way! There is very little (football springs to mind) that people
complain is OT on underscore...
