Ah ok well that wasn't clear from your original post - or I missed it if it was. If the site is already listed, but you are having difficulty getting a new page listed on the same site, this would be less to do with off page factors such as external links, and more to do with its content, and/or whether the content is duplicated etc. Have you checked if the page is being buried in supplemental results? Maybe you have two pages with similar keyphrase density and the other page is ranking higher, pushing this page you are trying to get placed outside of the results. I would be happy to take a look for free and give you some pointers if you want to mail me the url offlist. More specifically we are trying to get a single page to achieve the ranking instead of the homepage itself. The homepage for the site already ranks on the second page but we have reduced its content with respect to the keywords to get the new page to hopefully take on the ranking. The new page has no external links to it. Could this be an area to improve?
