If you want some proper vitriol on the subject, read the bristol
blogger for all the usual array of cack handed consultancy jobs done
by companies owned by board members of the proposal boards etc. which
lead to nothing but kept some public sector cash in motion across to
the private sector with no result whatsoever.

It is on fire at the moment. live nation and their competitors are
coming out all guns blazing on the live front; buying up venues,
re-forming old bands, creating 'festivals', tying in tour dates with
festivals and cities, re-selling the recorded live content across
multiple platforms etc... gigs are sold out months and months in
advance. remember how much were all those ticket prices being
discussed before christmas?
