I have both mac laptops and workstation - none of which have ever  
(touch wood) had any problems what-so-ever. Its like all technology,  
if you look after it and maintain it, then it will serve you for years  
to come. The only broken macs ive seen have been where people have  
pretty much abused the hardware or OS in general.
