+1 Other than it falling over yesterday, I've always found it to be  
excellent. An order of magnitude quicker than the bloody paper forms,  
especially if you're not really organised and have to work it out  
yourself. In fact, I've found HMRC to be very helpful in general. When  
I had some very complicated stuff in my return a couple of years ago  
(too complicated for the online system) they talked me through all of  
it over the phone.
