Hi [_], I'm not quite understanding something on the DNS front... A client has the domain name OPUS-INTERIORS.COM (and I didn't do the website before you shout at me). I belive I have changed the name servers to editdns.net so I can have better control. I did this earlier in the week but a CNAME I set up is not resolving so I know something is amiss. However, if you do the following: http://private.dnsstuff.com/tools/whois.ch?ip=opus-interiors.com It says <snip> Registrar: COMPUTER SERVICES LANGENBACH GMBH DBA JOKER.COM Status: clientRenewProhibited Dates: Created 10-apr-2007 Updated 29-may-2007 Expires 10-apr-2009 DNS Servers: NS0.LCN.BIZ NS1.LCN.BIZ I was referred to whois.joker.com; I'm looking it up there. domain: opus-interiors.com owner: - - organization: Servicemaster ltd email: jon1smith1 at hotmail.com address: thornhill city: alnwick state: northumberland postal-code: ne66 2qg country: GB phone: +44.1665602464 admin-c: CCOM-1023947 jon1smith1 at hotmail.com tech-c: CCOM-19168 newdom at lowcostnames.co.uk billing-c: CCOM-19168 newdom at lowcostnames.co.uk reseller: Domain registered by Low Cost Names reseller: http://www.lowcostnames.co.uk nserver: ns1.eu.editdns.net. nserver: ns2.eu.editdns.net. status: lock created: 2007-04-10 17:56:42 UTC modified: 2008-01-29 14:57:41 UTC expires: 2009-04-10 17:56:42 UTC </snip> I'm a bit confused between the "DNS Servers" and "nserver". Surely if the "nserver" correct (and "ns1.eu.editdns.net." is) then I should see my CNAME resolving? Furthermore, when logged into EDITDNS and looking at the OPUS-INTERIORS record I set up I can see a warning that it thinks the nameservers are wrong. I'm missing something obvious here I know. Joel
