Go for the 20" monitor upgrade though, as this unit is noticably
better than the default 19" silver jobby.

And there's no point going for the E6550 'Core' processor upgrade as
none* of the other components will support the 1333MHz bus speed of
the chip.

* <rant>I don't know why places like Dell do this in the first place;
it's fucking stupid to provide a very particular upgrade for one
component, but not allow you to match that upgrade throughout the
system to actually get any performance benefit from the thing.

Idiots -- it's the very reason why I've always built my own machines
and consummately gloated as my rigs wee all over factory-built
machines of - on paper - what should be a higher spec.</rant>
