> My father is thinking of bringing all of his years-worth of project management into a freelance consultancy offering. I'd like to get him a book on Agile Project Management for crimble, any recommendations? I see SCRUM mentioned alot - is this relevant? ...I know it's not the usual 'scrum' that would appeal to his Welsh side, though... Hi Keir SCRUM is the project management technique for Agile Development, so that would be more the thing you are looking for. Although it is developed for coding, elements of it can be applied for more general project management; for example, we take some techniques to actually run our company - though we don't lock our heads and kick a ball around ;). The book Ade suggested is a good recommendation, Ken Schwaber is one of the original guys who came up with SCRUM. Also look out for Mike Cohn. Jon
