Link to the special site from the front page of the main site?  Our  
site is hit by google once or twice a day, so new pages normally show  
up the next day if we add stuff.

Another approach could be to use google adwords to try and catch it?   
The reason I say this is on a motor forum I'm on someone 'outed'  
Google as being mean and nasty as (did you know?) you can pay to get  
listings placed?  I politely pointed out to them that adwords has  
been around now for about 8 years, and google clearly states they are  
'sponsored' links.  But it just goes to show... I'm guessing many  
average users out there probably don't realise that adwords ads at  
the top of Google are paid for.
