Link to the special site from the front page of the main site? Our site is hit by google once or twice a day, so new pages normally show up the next day if we add stuff. Another approach could be to use google adwords to try and catch it? The reason I say this is on a motor forum I'm on someone 'outed' Google as being mean and nasty as (did you know?) you can pay to get listings placed? I politely pointed out to them that adwords has been around now for about 8 years, and google clearly states they are 'sponsored' links. But it just goes to show...
