If you're an good and know a few people then you'll probably be OK. It'll be a steep learning curve and you almost certainly need to pull a few all-nighters though it's not rocket science; you just have to wear more hats. The market has been good for a few years now though if you're used to being a permie then ideally you should have 3-6 months living expenses saved up to give you a buffer.
