You could also create an animated gif with the text. Are you mad? Animated gifs should only be used for spinning logos, rainbow effects and dancing animals. I agree about the Java applet though. Maybe you should place it in a frameset. Also, a short looping midi background sound would help soothe the user when reading the scrolling marquee maybe? theUKdude
