Vista by default doesn't show the side bar on top of all other windows as far as I'm aware (I have two Vista Pc's as experience). They must have configured there's to "Always on Top" which is a pretty pointless setting because it will always cover part of the application your using. I don't think we need to re think our statistics for screen resolutions. -----Original Message----- From: Fintan Darragh [mailto:fintan.darragh at gmail.com] Sent: 01 April 2008 10:56 To: underscore at under-score.org.uk Subject: Re: [_] BBC News Page The people have spoken: http://tinyurl.com/2429ug Strongly mixed reviews... more than 800 of them, too! Interesting that a Vista user complains it doesn't fit in their browser at full screen, because of the Vista sidebar. Never thought of that - it could mean that while the browser reports that a user has a 1024 pixel wide resolution, in actual fact a large number of users aren't capable of viewing sites that wide (without disabling the sidebar...). -F -- Fintan Darragh marketwest.co.uk 07854 43 48 40 -- underscore_ list info/archive -> http://www.under-score.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/underscore -- No virus found in this incoming message.
