Or you could leave it in my back garden, unlocked. Worked for me...

And no, I didn't do it on purpose. But yes, I did get a shiny new bike
from my insurance company. I thought no-one would be so bold as to
scale a 6ft fence to nick a bike while the owners were in the house,
but I was wrong.
