I just got a Sony VAIO VGN-31S and I love it. The VGN-31Z has 2GB of RAM and comes in at about £600 from Dabs. No Bluetooth, but it does have wireless, firewire, 2 x USB, Ethernet etc. The only thing that goes against this laptop IMO is the fact that it comes with integrated Intel graphics, so don't even think about trying to play modern games on it.
