are you looking at the Vista or XP operating system?  I would go for XP at
the moment as I see no great benefits with Vista unless you are an avid
gamer that needs DX10.  If you go for XP then 2GB should be ample.  Have a
look at the HP/Compaq ranges as well as Dell.
