You lot might have noticed that I haven't bitched about Flash for  
quite a while now, because some things (AS3 and Flex, for example)  
give me a little more hope.  I've been toying with the idea of doing  
a specific project I have in mind in Flex rather than DHTML as planned.

However, Flash and Java are still the two main things that will crash  
a browser on my iBook.  A fairly average example will often run at  
less than a frame a second in Safari and Camino, even while running  
on a completely fresh OS install.

Anyway, let's not let this digress into yet another Flash is Pants  
discussion, even though I admit I'm usually the one that starts them :)
