Our cut-off point (IIRC) was always 3%. If a browser had less share than that, then it wasn't "supported". I've argued more recently that, although Safari and Opera have low market share, they're easier to support (it usually comes for free) than IE. Dave Shea wrote his article MOSe (Mozilla/Opera/Safari enhancement) back in 2003: http://www.mezzoblue.com/archives/2003/06/25/mose/ There's also Yahoo's Graded Browser Support principle: http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/articles/gbs/index.html I don't think you have to make "support" a black and white issue; basic/old browsers should get your content, while newer, more capable ones get more bells and whistles. That's the magic of Progressive Enhancement. Tim
