[_] Skype Advice

I bought a skypein number recently, it's very cheap compared to line
rental over a year with any land/line/mobile style regular supplier.

The quality is pretty good some days and it does voicemails for me for
most of the time when skype is not turned on.

There's quite a lot of good numbers left as well.

My main concerns would be that over the next couple of years I think
we'll see a lot more ISP's bandwidth limiting and this may even make
technologies like skype fairly useless sometimes. Currently blueyonder
for example seem to have effectitively blocked most of the p2p
networks and I wonder how long it will be until skype is effectively
totally useless to me on a £15pcm cable package.

Still, at roughtly £30 a year you can sign up, try it out, call
yourself from your landline and be amazed at how clear it is in the
meantime.
