[_] Freelancers: What would it take to make you go permanent?

I worked in Bristol for 4 years running a web dept for a company with various project-based in-house teams. I then went to the states and worked for an e-learning company for another 3 years. Again, really pleasant in-house teams that I loved being around. I have now been back in Bristol and am freelancing from home pretty much exclusively for my last company. Its been 6 months and I am getting used to it but I have to say I prefer a team-based environment to spark ideas off and be social with. I also prefer the work/home cutoff that I get when I have my work at an office and not in the back of my living room. There are also distractions at home that require me to be more self-disciplined. I would say that the thing I have missed most about coming back to Bristol, strangely, has been going into work. So, for me, I would happily trade in the freelancing for a FT position because I think it suits me better. This is in fact what I am trying to make happen with my present company....
