Perhaps (again, IANAL) all you need is some Ts&Cs ("I understand that,
by submitting my email and web addresses and accepting these terms, I
will be added to the mailing list.

It doesn't imply consent when the wording mentions getting your
results and doesn't mention that the address will be added to a
mailing list.
