My parents just bought a very nice Samsung 32" LCD for about £60 less than "internet price", and about £200 less than John Lewis. The nice thing is, it's got a 3 year warranty from Samsung, and a LIFETIME guarantee from Costco, as long as you remain a member. The terms of that guarantee are pretty liberal too: verging on being "insurance". I've heard of people taking back their TVs after as much as nine months because "they didn't like it", and then buying the new model. Check with them first w.r.t what's covered though. I must admit I was fairly sceptical, as the guarantee just seemed too damn good. *: Standard cash 'n' carry rules: Doctor, lawyer, nurse, chartered engineer, surveyor, etc. for a personal membership, or alternatively, a company can get a trade membership.
