suggest picking the brains of the guys at Richer Sounds in whiteladies road, they have a good selection of stuff and will be able to give you the assistance you are looking for. I would say the current standard for tv's (televisions) is 1080p which is 1080 lines with progressive scanning. Seems to give the best definition for HD at the moment.
