I've got a 14" portable with built in DVD player sat in our spare room that I could offer for that price ;) Dreadful humour aside - these links are pretty good for reviews of tele's: http://www.homecinemachoice.com/reviews/ http://www.trustedreviews.com/tvs/ If not needing latest kit I'd be tempted to have a look in Richer Sounds or on their web site - they tend to stock older models, but the good ones... Richer Sounds stock list plus the two sites above and you could find a gem at a good price. Last time I bought a DVD player from them it was about £50 (was a couple of years back), but for another £10 it was guaranteed for 3 years. It failed in year 3, took it back and got a brand new one (different model, same price) no quibbles... £1250 should get great kit if not latest models...just don't skimpt on speaker cable ;) Steve On Nov 8, 2007 4:21 PM, Joel Hughes <jh at jojet.com> wrote: > hi [_], > we are currently looking into upgrading our entertainment setup and > wanted to pick someones brains who knows about this kinda thing > > 1) want a nice big telly.
