We only had one visitor. My girl was quite disappointed at this.  
Rather than pretending to be out, having lived in the middle of  
nowhere most of her life she was looking forward to receiving her  
first trick or treat-ers. The upside is that we now have a massive,  
almost untouched bucket of sweets and chocolate that she picked up  
from the cadbury outlet shop in swindon.

Perhaps we scared the kids away with our real (plastic) life-sized  
human skeleton that we had standing in the window.
