After reading through the bloated and largely pointless marketing
spiel I got the impression that the advantages over flash would be:-

- support for scalable streaming HD video up to full screen (or can
flash do that?)
- ability to deliver "full" apps over the web built using the .net
framework (programmed using language of developers choice)

My take on this is that it seems like MS might be aiming to use this
to provide software services over the internet i.e. full rich office
apps as a competitior to AJAX based stuff from the likes of google.

However, I just tried one of the full screen movie trailers and it
froze my windows laptop (XP 1.4GHZ, loads of RAM)
