I'm told the pay is around £21K, which I don't think is too bad for
this sort of role. IANARC, though.

To manage and execute production of client micro websites/advertising
banners/online materials to schedule and to agreed quality standards,
either independently or with support. The role will report to the
sales team but on a day-to-day basis will be responsible for ensuring
that sales/marketing/editorial clients are served with a range of
market-leading solutions.

The position will be responsible for day-to-day management of web
sales production, including the specification, design, creation,
delivery and workability of micro websites and electronic forms to
mail (and reporting tools), the creation of HTML and a range of ad hoc
sales and marketing tasks as requested by group ad sales managers.
Design/creation work will involve the use of XHTML and CSS coding
within the IS-built templates/content management tools.

The post holder will also work with advertising managers to
proactively manage and administer online advertising on the various
IOP websites using the online advertising management system.

Must have:

* demonstrable experience of using CSS 2 and XHTML

* Hands-on web/production experience (using web tools, XHTML coding,
CSS Coding, copy checking; image manipulation, Photoshop)

* Strong html skills and basic knowledge of key web processes and
technologies (a basic knowledge of file and directory structures; web
browser; FTP, at least at the level of client software; test, version
control and live release procedures; proficiency in CSS and an
understanding of how different browsers interpret this standard)

* Good visual skills (layout and basic design), attention to detail
and an understanding of branding

* Good interpersonal skills with both internal and external
colleagues, and with clients and suppliers.

Should be well organized, confident and cool headed.
