Hi,

I have a problem that has been bugging me all day and I am hoping someone
will have had experience with something similar.

I have set up two machines with mysql and the ODBC driver for ASP to connect
to it... one works, one throws this:

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0115'

Unexpected error

/index.asp

A trappable error (C0000005) occurred in an external object. The script
cannot continue running.

Active Server Pages error 'ASP 0240'

Script Engine Exception

/index.asp

A ScriptEngine threw exception 'C0000096' in 'IActiveScript::Close()' from
'CActiveScriptEngine::FinalRelease()'.

Same version of mySQL, not exactly the same driver (the one that doesn't
work is slightly newer), same scripts. Different hardware.

Searches are presenting me with massively divergent paths down which I have
no time to wander as this is relatively urgent, I am hoping that someone
might narrow my search, if not actually know what the hell is going
on....please?
