I saw a demo of it a while back , it works and its very impressive.

yep thats what the ORG are saying . I haven't understood why auntie
can't just re-write her contracts to include online distribution . 
She's are big and prestigious (for now) enough to get away with it .
Isn't it fairly normal for content distributors to give themselves far
reaching distribution rights ? e.g. the known universe on whatever
medium.

not since they sold of the R&D department that was developing it .
        
It would be facinating to know how much the microsoft solution is
costing us^^the BBC.
