OK, well if the interest is there then I know enough Symfony to give a
matter of fact demo going through the set-up of a small project,
showing the admin generator and building front-end module, with some
of the AJAX stuff thrown in. If, however, the interest is more towards
a general talk on MVC or on building better web apps then I'm not
particularly keen to do that as there are evidently strong opinions on
the subject and people more qualified than me to do this.

When I suggested it I'd assumed the mini talks would be pitched in
such a way for people to make up their own minds. I would be genuinely
interested to know how - say - Cake differs. Heck if it's that good
I'll switch!.

So, how long for each talk (20 mins?) and who with? I guess it'll work
better if we all tackle the same task and compare notes beforehand.

The project management talk sounds interesting so I'd come along to
that in any case.
