Lack of interest from members. The service it provided is now cheaply
available elsewhere and there's a new Computer Science Society to do the
social stuff.

That was before my time; I did know we'd had a PDP 11, but no idea what
happened to it. The current kit consists of a single machine that will
keep running for a few months to allow users to get their files off.
