I think you've misread the question, Steve, as to my knowledge you've  
never run OS X on a PC, or for that matter Windows (natively) on a Mac.


As objectively as I can be, I'd reckon that Windows on a Mac is  
'better' than OSX on a PC, as as far as Windows is concerned, an  
Intel Mac *is* just a PC, whereas OSX is expecting to be run on Mac  
hardware and is unsupported, so all bets are off (and any software- 
 >hardware optimisations are moot)

Admittedly, it's a fairly dumb question, though, as it's not  
comparing like for like.  A better phrasing would be:

> Which performs better: running Windows on an Intel Core 2 Duo Mac,  
> and running Windows on an equivalent brand-name PC of equivalent  
> spec?  The answer to that, I reckon, is "they're likely to be about
