there are quite a few DX10 cards available now, there are the 8800, 8600 and the 8300 Nvidia range as well as the R600 which has been renamed by ATI to the X2x00 series. If the hardware will work under XP and they are able to fudge the API's for the DirectDraw components then I see no reason as to why XP gamers will have the pleasure of DX10 games like Crysis, Alan Wake, Lost Planet and Assassins Creed. I know that the majority of those games will be playable under DX9c but wouldn't it be good to see them in DX10 without having to use the power hungry Vista OS. I will be keeping an eye on this development.
