GreenBristol is running two spectacular events in the next few days.
Ten movers, clad in striking green body-suits - see photo attached, will perform
a drifting dance. This curious happening will spark people's interest
in green mapping.

The first performances are at the Festival of Nature on Saturday 2nd
June at 11 am and 2 pm:
www.festivalofnature.org/festival.php?pageid=3&parentid=0
Last year the event attracted 25,000 people and it will be televised by the BBC.

The second performances are on World Environment Day - Tuesday June
5th. These will take place at 12.30 and 1.30 pm in the plaza at Temple
Quay. In addition pupils from Hannah More Environmental School will be
chalking positive messages for change: www.hannahmore.org.uk

Our events promote green-mapping and our proposal for a city-wide
green map of Bristol. A green map is an information resource for more
sustainable living. Green mapping can also be used to explore
creatively local and global environmental issues via new media. For an
example see Bedminster's green map:
www.southvillecentre.org.uk/greenmap/ and our London partner's site:
http://greenmap.london21.org/

The dance performances will be facilitated by Eric Mutch of the Fun
Revolution: www.thefunrevolution.com
